Join our team of collective training subject matter experts

Our subject matter experts (SMEs) are at the heart of our vital work supporting the design, planning and execution of computer assisted defence exercises across current and future collective training contracts both in the UK and overseas.

As such, we’re expanding our pool of SMEs from the UK and NATO member states to join us in working side-by-side with the NATO and national training centres to support Alliance readiness, helping us to create a safe and secure world, together.

Our SMEs have a range of experience

Our Military, cross government and societal SMEs are drawn from across all services and departmental staff branches and domains (land, maritime, air, space, cyber and information). We utilise their skills and experience to support delivery of operating environment detail (physical and human terrain), develop the exercise scenario, script specialist annexes to Blue / Red / Green Operational Staff Work, as Role Players to conduct exercise play and in Wargaming design and delivery.

  • Generalist: NATO or national collective training design and delivery for formation level events
  • Former Commanders: at 2/3/4* level to mentor current formation commanders
  • J2: intelligence analysis, JISR, targeting
  • J3: multi-domain operations, targeting, CBRN, information warfare, psychological operations
  • J4: formation level logistic planning and operations
  • J5 (future plans): strategic and operational planning in multi-domain operations
  • J6: CIS planning and operations
  • J9: CIMIC operations and planning, IO/NGO liaison
  • OPFOR: experience in design, delivery of multi-domain, hybrid peer or peer + operations
  • Political/legal advisor
  • Gender advisor
  • Defence attaché
  • Resilience
