We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for more than 300 undergraduate and graduate opportunities across Babcock.
Our undergraduate and graduate programmes are designed for ambitious individuals looking to develop their careers while contributing to work of national importance. Opportunities include graduate programmes, placement years and summer internships across engineering, science, business and project management. Roles are available throughout the UK, including Plymouth, Bristol, Warrington, Leicester, Rosyth, HM Naval Base Clyde, and more.
From day one, undergraduates and graduates work alongside experienced professionals, supporting projects and programmes that are essential to national security and critical infrastructure. Participants gain real responsibility, practical experience and the chance to make a meaningful contribution early in their careers.

Reflecting on his time on the undergraduate programme, James, a Chemical and Process Engineering Graduate, said:
“I did a year-long placement with Babcock and thoroughly enjoyed the experiences, responsibilities, and type of work I encountered. That placement year was like a “try before you buy” opportunity, giving me a real sense of what the graduate programme would be like after finishing university.”
