As a safety engineer, you’ll be at the forefront, helping to ensure that our people, operations and the communities we serve remain protected. Whether you’re supporting the Royal Navy in Plymouth or working within our Cavendish Nuclear business, your expertise will help us deliver on our promise: Home Safe Every Day.
You’ll play a critical role in identifying, assessing and mitigating risks across complex engineering environments. From nuclear safety cases and hazard analysis to regulatory compliance and safety assurance, your work will underpin the integrity of our most vital programmes. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to embed safety into every stage of the engineering lifecycle — from concept through to decommissioning.
Most of our safety engineering roles are based in Plymouth or within Cavendish Nuclear, where the stakes are high and the standards even higher. These roles demand a deep understanding of safety principles, a rigorous approach to problem-solving and a passion for protecting people and the environment.
